You don’t have to start from scratch

Memories help your agent understand you across conversations. You can give it your preferences, a detail about your work or something else worth keeping, so you don’t have to explain it every time you start a new chat.

For example, remembering where you want to work and the roles you’re interested in helps a job-search agent give you more relevant results.

Add a memory

Open your account menu and click Memories.

Account menu with Memories highlighted.

Write what you want your agent to remember, choose who it’s available to and click Add memory.

Memories panel with a field for what the agent should remember and choices for This agent + teammates or All my agents.

Choose which agents can use it

This agent + teammates is the default. It makes the memory available to the current agent and its direct teammates. Choose All my agents for context you want available wherever you chat, such as how you prefer answers to be written.

What happens behind the scenes?

Omnimatch saves memories as details linked to your account, separately from the conversation. When you chat, it makes the memories that agent can access available as context. For longer entries, the agent can read the full detail when it needs it.

Memories can also come from details remembered during a conversation or answers you give during onboarding. Those saved details help the agent tailor its answers in future chats.

Your agents keep it up to date

Your agents keep memories up to date automatically as you talk to them. If your circumstances or preferences change, just tell your agent. You can review, edit or delete memories in this panel, but you should rarely need to do that manually.
